This map of China features a small part of northeastern Southeast Asia. Population density is shown, along with rivers, trade routes, tidal river navigation limits, railways (existing and suggested), and two coal mines in Tong-King (Vietnam).

The border of the Tenasserim Division of British Burma (Tanintharyi Region, Myanmar) is highlighted in orange on this set of six map sheets, showing the boundary with Siam (Thailand) to the east, and the islands off the west coast.

To aid navigation, this map shows small islands, shoals and reefs, maritime routes for use during monsoons or at particular times of the year, bathymetry (sea depth), tide information, shipwrecks, compass roses and landmark mountains at the coasts.
